INCA JUNGLE TOUR 2D TO MACHU PICCHU

INCA JUNGLE 2D TOUR PROGRAM TO MACHU PICCHU (SHORT ROUTE).

DAY 1: CUSCO - ABRA MALAGA - ECO TERRA LODGE - AGUAS CALIENTES.

We pick you up very early from your hotel at 05:30 am. In our car to then begin our trip to Ollantaytambo, where on the way you will be able to see a beautiful landscape of Andean towns and crops. After arriving in Ollantaytambo, we will have a buffet breakfast. Then we will continue our trip in our transport to Abra Málaga at an altitude of 4,297 m.a.s.l. for approximately 3 hours, where you will be able to see a beautiful Andean ecosystem and the Veronica snow-capped mountain, from Abra Malaga we begin the adventure of descending on bicycles of 53 km for approximately 3 hours.

Later, we will continue by car "Eco Terra Lodge" where we will have a delicious buffet lunch. After lunch, we will continue the trip by car to Hydroelectric for 1 hour, from where we will begin the walk along the side of the railway of 10 km for approximately 3 hours until we reach the town of "Aguas Calientes". Then you will have free time until the next day to settle in your hotel, have dinner and sleep until the next day we visit the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.

DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – HIDROELECTRICA - CUSCO

Very early in the morning, you will have breakfast at your hotel at 05:30 a.m. approx. Because he will be picked up by our guide from his hotel at 06:30 a.m., then we will continue boarding the bus towards the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu for 20 min. Likewise, in the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, you will have a guided tour by our guide through different places: the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Solar Clock, the Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Royal Cemeteries and more.

After the guided tour, you will have free time for a few hours so that you can continue enjoying the Wonder of the World and take very beautiful photographs. Immediately, we will descend by bus to the town of "Aguas Calientes" where we will have lunch, then we will take the train back to Hydroelectric, from here they return by car to Cusco.

• 5:30 am - a hotel pick-up.
• Transfer by bus to the Abra Malaga (4,350 m/14,272 ft).
• 3-hour downhill biking on mountain bikes from Abra Malaga (Malaga Pass) to Huamanmarca.
• Visit to the archaeological remains of Inca Tambo on the way.
• Stop at Huamanmarca and an explanation by our Tour Guide about the valley.
• Transport by private vehicle to "Eco Terra Lodge".
• Buffet lunch at "Eco Terra Lodge".
• 1-hour ride to the railway station Hidroelectrica (a hydroelectric plant).
• A 9-km walk along the trails amidst cloud forest (2 and a half hours).
• Arrival at the town of Aguas Calientes (just below Machu Picchu).
• Check-in and getting settled in a hotel.
• Dinner at a local restaurant.
• Optional: you can visit the local thermal baths (it is not included in the tour price).
• Overnight at your hotel.

DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – HIDROELECTRICA - CUSCO

• Buffet breakfast at your hotel at 5:00 a.m.
• Pick up at the hotel by your Tour Guide 5:30 a.m.
• Ascent to Machu Picchu on foot 2 hours approx. (bus transportation costs USD 12 one way).
• Private guided tour of the Inca citadel Machu Picchu (2 hours and a half).
• Free time in Machu Picchu to take pictures, meditate or walk.
• Descent to the town of Aguas Calientes.
• Lunch at a local restaurant of your choice (not included in the price).
• Return by train from Aguas Calientes to Hidroelectrica.
• Transportation by private vehicle from Hydroelectric to Cusco.
• Finally, arrival in Cusco and end of our services.
