The Humantay Lake is one of the most beautiful bodies of turquoise water in the Cusco region; It is located at the foot of the Humantay and Salkantay mountains (the second-highest mountain in Cusco). It is located at an altitude of 4100 m.a.s.l. And its name converted from Quechua means "HEAD OF GOD", it is also a mountain that serves as a transition and divides both the Andes and the jungle; since, the ancient settlers crossed this mountain to be able to connect the Andes with the jungle edge towards the valley of La Convencion to the Inca citadel Machu Picchu. The Humantay lagoon keeps mysteries and hidden traditions in the surrounding communities, therefore, our full day tour is perfect for you to reconnect with nature and your mystical being.
